There's a certain donut shop chain that runs this contest that has my son and me picking up the discarded cups that are littered everywhere so we can "roll up the rim."

When I was painting Jesus cards, this card was my greatest achievement because I painted myself as Saint Michael.
I was actually just joking but nobody seemed to notice and they just printed the cards.
Right now somewhere on this planet there are missionaries giving out pictures of me killing a demon for the Lord!

When our kids were little every Canadian mother seemed to have this book called the Canadian Medical Association's Complete Book of Mother & Baby Care. The face on the drawing is based on one of the women in the book. I love her face.

One of the more famous oral teachings attributed to Rabbi Simcha Bunim of Peschischa goes as follows:
Everyone should have a note in each pocket, so that he or she can reach into the one of them, depending on the need. When feeling lowly and discouraged, one should reach into the right pocket for the words, "it was for my sake, the universe was created."
When feeling selfish and arrogant one should reach into the left pocket, and find the words: "I am but dust and ashes."

Just Waiting To Meet Her

Yesterday while sitting in a doughnut shop I suddenly remembered that I promised my pregnant cousin I would do some in-utero baby paintings so I quickly did this relying on guesswork. You can imagine my shock when I did a proper image search and found out what it really looks like. They don't have pillows or calendars and they certainly aren't tattooed yet!

The first day my boy was at home.

He just stared at me the whole time that I drew him. Now he's just days away from being a ten year old.
